Help
Bramble is free. There is no paid tier, and no support queue you can jump.
Two ways to reach us. The first is better whenever it works, because your reply comes back inside the app where you asked.
1. In the app
Open Bramble and go to Settings › Feedback. Write what happened. You do not need to know what went wrong or what anything is called — “the shield says it is on but Instagram opens” is a good report.
Replies arrive at Settings › Your reports, where the whole conversation stays. Nothing is posted anywhere, and no one in your Circle is told that you wrote to us.
2. By email
If the app will not open, if you cannot sign in, or if you would rather not use the form, write to help@getbramble.app.
Tell us what you were doing and what you saw. If you can, include your iPhone’s iOS version and the Bramble version from Settings › Version. We read every message.
3. Things people write about most
A site is blocked that should not be
On the block page, tap Wrong?. That opens the site for you for 24 hours straight away and tells us to look at it, so you are not waiting on a reply to get on with your day.
Protection will not turn on
Turning it on asks for three separate iOS permissions in a row — a VPN configuration, a content filter, and Screen Time. If one was declined, the shield will not seal. Go to Settings › Shield and run through it again; anything missing is named there.
The Safari extension is the one piece no app can switch on for you. It lives in iOS Settings › Apps › Safari › Extensions.
You want to turn protection off
You can, always. Settings › Shield › Turn off all protection. There is a short wait and your Circle is told — that is the point of it — but nothing here is designed to trap you, and nobody has to approve it.
You want your account deleted
Settings › Account › Delete Account removes it and the data attached to it. If you cannot get into the app to do that, email us and we will do it for you.
4. What we can and cannot see
We cannot see your screen, your journal, or your messages with your Circle — not for support, not ever. So when you write to us, assume we know nothing about what happened and tell us the whole thing.
What we hold and why is set out in the privacy policy.
5. If it is heavier than an app
If you are in crisis, please reach a person, not a form. In the US you can call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, any time. Bramble is not a substitute for care, and Find Care in the app lists licensed clinicians if you want to talk to someone.
